School & Work too much?

Hi guys,

I haven’t posted on here its been a while but I’ll tell you my reasons why.

  1. School- I have school every single day of the week from 8:30pm to about 2:30pm.
  2. Work- I work everyday of the week Monday to Friday from 3pm to about 8:45pm.

Now that you know how long my days are from waking up in the morning at 6:30am and leaving the house at 7:50am to going to school, full day of classes and not going home later but to work till about 8:45pm. Then, I get home around 9:30pm and eat supper, since I do not eat at work. After supper, I have to do homework and don’t go to bed until 11-12am. 😦

I had promised that I would let you guys know how I felt about school after my first week but next week it will be my third week so I’m a little late, sorry 😦 Just been very busy and getting myself organized and in a good daily routine 🙂

I am in love with this program (Early Childhood Education) It is something that I am sure I want to do as soon as I can, which is after I graduate from this program in 3 years. 🙂 I can’t wait. I can honestly say, I love my teachers, they are so helpful and kind. The students as well are very nice. It already seems like we are in a family. It makes sense because we are 30 students and have all the same classes at the same time everyday 🙂

Hopefully, I can go through these next 13 weeks at school and work and not go crazy or get anxiety attacks like I had previously. 😦

Hope I can talk to you guys soon again 🙂

Hope you all are having a fantastic back to school or back to another week of work. 🙂

School Supply Shopping

I always loved getting ready for school. I start college on August 22nd 2016. Today as I am writing this on August 15th, 2016, I have a week left of summer. I can’t believe I already start college again after a year of being off from school.

So here is a recap of my story as I already wrote a blog about it. Link is here if you haven’t read it yet…

I have a degree in Social Science major in Child Studies since 2014. I can’t do anything with that. So, I’ve changed my plans of becoming a teacher to become a daycare educator at a daycare where we teach children their abc’s and 1.2.3’s.

Since I talked about this already, I’m going to write about getting my school supplies for this new adventure.

Even though I have 10000 schoolbags, I had to buy another one. I went out with a friend and she needed a bag. We found many at Walmart and then I stumbled across this one.14037522_10157428739415294_1677635116_o.jpg I had to get it, it was beautiful.

I also bought duo-tangs since I don’t like binders, as I find they are way too big and heavy.14012684_10157428739520294_176477733_o.jpg They are so nice and flashy.

I love color codding things, so each subject is a color.

With the duo-tangs I also bought copybooks, but they look more like note pads. I like them more as they are small and take less room in my school bag. As well as, they have more pages then the regular 80 page spiral copybooks. More pages but less weight is always best, so you don’t have to buy a lot of them. 14037559_10157428739835294_214853043_o.jpgThese should last me the whole semester. Thankfully, as I don’t like having 2 or 3 copybooks for one subject, it gets out of hand and unorganized.

I also got an organizer to put loose papers inside. By now you should have guessed that I am an organizer freak lol :P… but it is true! 😛 14001953_10157428739860294_1205380492_o.jpg

Here is to a new adventure! I am excited but a little nervous. Wish me luck! I will write a blog post after my first week and let you all know how it went. 🙂

Question of the day: Was your favorite part of starting school getting school supplies? If not, how come? Was it because it meant summer was over?

Hope you all had a fantastic summer 2016 🙂 I know I did 😀

Date Night <3

So last weekend, I wanted to bring my boyfriend somewhere special, romantic and somewhere we haven’t gone yet.

One of our friends told us about a lake we have near our house, so I decided that was a perfect spot. This lake was a free relaxing area where you could enjoy the beautiful nature, which is what we did. I’ll of course show you some pictures. 🙂

We went on Saturday around 3pm and may I tell you this, it was a very hot day. I wore a romper and it still was very hot, over +30 degrees Celsius for sure. But, I really wanted to go, so we went anyways.

We had told each other, the next time we go there, we would go for a picnic as there were nice tables set out in front of the lake…which would be so romantic lol 🙂 I regretted not bringing something that day, but it was cause we didn’t know if we were definitely going or not since it was so hot.

I think this is one of my new favorite places to go to for a relaxing day to think. 🙂

Have you been somewhere that is nature friendly? If so where? Pictures?

Quebec City mini vacation

Hi guys,

The past week was very interesting nonetheless. First, let me start off by saying it was my week back from vacation (didn’t go anywhere…my boss left to go to Mexico so he closed) so that was a hard Monday to start off my week.

The rest of the week was alright till we hit Thursday. Thursday July 28th, we were supposed to go to Super Aqua Club with my neighbor and my sister, but we cancelled on her. My father had told us the night before that he was going to Quebec City for the day so he asked us if we wanted to tag along. The drive was a long one but it was worth every minute. I’m telling you guys, it was beautiful. The only downside was the weather outside. It was not cooperative. It was +30 degrees Celsius. It was so hot, but as a refresher, we got ice cream at yes 11am. : )

I’ll attach some pictures here:

My father told me, someone destroyed this statue that Picasso made the week before we saw it. Why would someone do this??? Common guys!

We saw many other sculptures, here are a few more that we saw 🙂

I had so much fun spending time with family that day. Even though we didn’t go somewhere tropical, we still had a blast.

Hope you guys are having or had an amazing summer 2016! 🙂

Where have you gone this summer 2016? Did you have a lot of fun? Pictures?

Starting my own vlog

Now many of you know how large of our population who view YouTube videos on a daily basis or make their own YouTube videos, right? I watch many families on a daily basis, every single night as a matter of fact till about 2 am…lol 🙂

Years and years of watching other people make YouTube videos; I always wondered what it would feel like to start my own channel. After months and months of thinking, my sister and I are starting both our separate channels and who knows, maybe we’ll have one channel together.

We had filmed a video a while ago and thought that was going to be our first video together, but after viewing it and showing it to others, it was very awkward and long, so we deleted it. Now we decided to go our separate ways into the YouTube world of creating our own videos.

I haven’t decided what content I’ll be posting about. I’d like to do daily vlogs, but probably not going to happen every single day because my days are boring. I work every single night, so I only have a couple of hours to video before work, since I cannot vlog my work place. For today I decided to vlog and its coming out better than I thought so far. I guess I’ll have to wait and see it at the end of the day.

I’ll put the link to my YouTube channel somewhere in this blog post (and maybe my sisters, if she’ll let me of course) and you can check it out and let me know what you think. You can also leave some video ideas that I should make. I’d love to hear them…well in this case read them 🙂

Not only am I getting into YouTube videos, I also love photography. I love taking pictures of anything. I don’t know if that will take me anywhere, but maybe if word spreads around, I might start that also. If I do start photography, I will definitely put photos more often on my blogs of things or people I have taken photos of.

Hope you are all having a fantastic day today! Always remember to smile!

Have you ever thought about starting your own YouTube channel or simply record every day of your life? If so, have you started? If not, what is stopping you from starting? What makes a good photographer? Should I become a photographer? (I don’t know yet)

Have you ever wanted to restart your life?

Have you ever wanted to restart your life? Have you ever felt that something happened for a reason and changed your thoughts about it? Have you questioned your life ever?

There are a few reasons why I’d like to restart my life, but here are a few. Warning this is long, but truthful.

Before I start, I’d like to share a little story about me cause it is very relevant to what I’m about to say.

When I was just a little girl, I had many visits to the hospital. I had many operations on my eyes (bleeding from them) as I had and still have a lazy eye to this day, which I have to wear glasses for. I had many other visits for my low platelets. They were so low, I was bleeding from my mouth and rushed to the hospital to stay there for a while (I don’t know the exact amount of time). My parents keep on telling me, they prayed for me not to move as if I did, I would be paralyzed all of my life. Thankfully, I did not move. I also recently had two panic attacks. I am a type of person who has a lot of anxiety. This is when I tried two different birth controls, and they both didn’t work as they increased my anxiety, which is a known fact. So now that you know that part of my life it will be easier for you to understand why I am writing this post

In case people don’t know what platelets are.

The first reason why I would like to restart my life is school. Now some people might find this weird, but I enjoy school. On the contrary to this note, I hated school when I was younger. I did have many friends, but that wasn’t the problem. The problem was I wasn’t good at many subjects. Now that I am older and working at a tutoring place for almost four years now, I came to the realization that I was stupid enough to not care about school and that I was in the wrong for doing that. Now, graduating from Elementary, High School and College, I wasn’t able to go to University because of my grades. If I would have started from the beginning to be a great academic student, it would have been easier to get in to University. Don’t get me wrong, I still got good grades, just not excellent grades. I am a little sad about it, but I have realized my mistake. That being said, I now have to change my dream job of becoming a teacher to becoming a daycare educator. I don’t mind the change because I’m still in the field of children (since I love them dearly), but it still wasn’t in my plan. I now got accepted into Early Childhood Education at Vanier College and will be starting that with a positive academic attitude. I can’t wait 🙂

school quote.jpg

This quote is the perfect resume for that I wrote above 🙂

The second reason why I would like to restart my life is family. When I get older and have my own children, I would like for them to be open-minded about anything to me, for example, come to be for help, bullies, money, boyfriends/girlfriends, etc. I kind of didn’t have that opportunity. If my parents are reading this or someone who knows my parents and me, I do love you both. I grew up mostly with my grandparents and still to this day I thank them for all they have done for me. I really do love them. Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t live with her because my parents were always gone, but because my parents were living on top of my grandparents’ house, so they would spend most of their day downstairs with them. I was really attached to my grandparents until my grandfather passed away when I was only four years old. I remember him to this day and always miss him dearly. That was a very sad moment in my life even if I was very young. I would love to go back in time and make sure to spend every moment with him and to say my goodbye because I didn’t. I mean my mother told me I knew even at that age that he died and I was crying at his funeral. Anyways getting a little off topic, might make a whole blog about him. Now that I am older, I am also getting further away from my sister. My sister and I are three years apart so we would spend every day together, expect now as we both have different schedules. She is now 18 and I am 21. Family is supposed to be supportive of all the decisions you make unless it’s bad ones. Family is supposed to be there to help you when you need them the most. I am close to my family, but I wish I got a little closer to my parents and extended family. I do love them.

Again this is the best quote that describes what I wrote above about Family.

The third reason why I would like to restart my life is friends. Throughout my childhood, I made many friends at school or in my neighborhood, but some unfortunately moved to another country or just made newer friends as we changed from Elementary to High School to College. The friends that I have lost connection to, I dearly miss. I wish we were still friends as the great memories we have made stopped. L  But on a happy note, I am still very good friends with someone who’s name is Christina since Elementary school. She has been my best friend ever since, so 15 years and counting. We had fought and went through a “breakup”, but we still are there for each other day in and day out, hopefully forever and always.

Sadly, I can’t post pictures of my friends.

The last reason why I would like to restart my life is love/relationships. Every girl dreams to fall in love with a person they will call their prince charming, and for a boy to ask us out on a date. We all have our crush moments and mine all happened between Elementary and High School. Coincidently, one became my boyfriend. I had a major crush on a boy that was in my class and it happened like in the movies, love at first sight, i.e. his books fell on the floor and I helped him pick them up. That didn’t end in a relationship, but that’s okay. I had many other crushes in High School and I asked a boy out for the first time. That also didn’t end in a relationship because we were just close friends, which was fine. The thing I wish changed in my school years was for a boy to ask me out. I didn’t get asked out in all my school years. That is why I took initiative and asked out two people. One that I told you didn’t work out and the other boy is my boyfriend right now. We’ve been together now for two years a couple of months. I love him a lot! ❤ Girls need to realize that it doesn’t have to only be the boy that asks the girl out, it can be the reverse, like what I did. 🙂

Sadly, I can not post a picture of my boyfriend and I. But, I love these quotes. My favorite quote is this one:

 download (2).jpg

All in all, from being sick most of my life, to hating school and not being smart about being smart, to not being close to family and losing touch of close friends, I really would like to restart my life and learn from these mistakes/lessons. They say you learn from your mistakes and that is so true when it comes to life. Live young and live free.

Now I’ll ask you the same questions I asked at the beginning of this long blog:

Have you ever wanted to restart your life? Have you ever felt that something happened for a reason and changed your thoughts about it? Have you questioned your life ever?

Vanier Early Childhood Education

I’ve known what I wanted to become when I grew up since I was just a little girl. I’ve always wanted to become a teacher. Having my own room and my own children to teach was my dream. I say “was” because things have changed now that I am older. I did some research and talked to many people and they had told me that a daycare educator gets better pay than teacher. Also daycare educators are more in need than teachers here. Becoming a daycare educator was my second option as it still involves me being with children, which is what I wanted to do as I love them so much.

I graduated from Vanier College in May 2015 from Social Science Major in Child Studies and wanted to pursue my dreams in University in their Education program to become a teacher, but that didn’t work well. A lot of my friends and family did the Early Childhood Education at Vanier to become a daycare educator, so they told me to give it a try. I thought about it and ended up applying there in March. I got an email shortly after telling me I had to pass an interview on a certain date. I went with all nervousness, but it went better than I thought, which I’m thankful for. After the interview, the interviewee had told us that we should get a letter in the mail telling us if we got in or not two weeks after that date.

Monday April 4th, my father had told me why I didn’t go and get the mail before leaving for work. I had told him, I had to leave as I was already running late and had to stop and get gas first. He had told me after that I should have taken it because there was an important letter for me.

Now there is a rule/law that you aren’t allowed to open other people’s mail. My father kept on saying he wouldn’t open it because he wasn’t allowed. I told him I’ll open it after work, but when he told me who it was from, I told him to forget about it and just open it; he got my permission. I couldn’t wait six hours; I was way too excited to find out what it said.

It was a letter I have been waiting for. It was a letter from Vanier saying ‘Congratulations, you have been accepted” My day at work just got a whole lot better after I got that amazing news. I was so happy. I still am happy.

All I have to do now is wait until August to start, but that seems so far away. 😦 Now that I am a returning student, I won’t have many classes, since I’ve done all the general classes like; English, French, gym etc. All I have to take now is the program courses, so my schedule shouldn’t be too overloaded.  I’ll keep you all posted in another blog post later in August. I can’t wait to start!

I loved Vanier, hopefully it will be the same when I go back 🙂

Question of the day,

What do you want to be when you grow up? If you knew since you were younger (like me), has it changed now that you have grown?
